Carrot cake (also known as passion cake) is a cake containing carrots mixed into the batter. Most modern carrot cake recipes have a white cream cheese frosting. Ingredients: Sugar, wheat flour, whey powder, raising starch E450i, E500I; cinnamon, salt, emulsifier E481 thickening agent E415 and flavouring. May contain traces of wheat, gluten and milk.
Method of preparation: Mix 500 grams of preparation with 80 grams of water, 3 eggs (150g) 140 grams of vegetable oil 150ml and 150 grams of grated carrot. Add chopped walnuts to taste. Mix the dough slowly for 5 minutes and pour it into a baking tin. The baking tin has to be 20 cm in diameter or 22 if it is square. Bake at 175 degrees for 50/60 minutes.
